Strategic Ministry Plan
Connecting All to Christ

Great News!
October 20, 2005 -
St Stephens Congregation approves motion to request formal architect's design proposals for a new "multi-purpose building!

His Strategy --
Building His Kingdom for Eternity

Our Tactic

Conduct a structured, orderly process to determine what facilities are required to support the expanding ministry and worship programs of the congregation

Our Response

  • Make a comprehensive site evaluation of all church properties
  • Continuously monitor the status of properties immediately adjacent to the current church campus and city/county plans that impact our properties
  • Recommend that the Church Board of Directors approve development of a Master Plan for our properties that include a proposed site for a multipurpose facility
  • Visit nearby churches with multipurpose facilities to become more familiar with the issues involved
  • Encourage support of our capital funding program in anticipation of future needs

All of the team's efforts have been to accomplish the above directives from the congregation.

After 2 years of dedicated and prayerful work, they have completed this task in a thorough and thoughtful manner.

On Sunday November 20th, our congregation has approved the overall direction of the plan and have authorized the exciting next step.

THANK YOU Lynda Lea DeHart, Todd Beck and your entire 'Building His Kingdom for Eternity' team!
